Jesus is Coming Soon!

What if the days of creation coincided with the millennia since creation.  Peter said with the Lord a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years are like a day (2 Peter 3:8). So, since Adam, there have been six thousand years. To God, there have been six days. Maybe God is telling us something:

Day One: God Creates Light
First Thousand Years of Man’s Existence:
God reveals Himself and walks with mankind.
(Jesus is the Light of the World.)
Day Two: God Separates the Waters
Second Millennium:
God parts the Red Sea to show, in part, that he offers salvation
Day Three: God Creates Life
Third Millennium:
David’s Kingdom Begins. Jesus, David’s descendent, is the way, the truth and the life.
Day Four: God Creates the Sun, Moon and Stars
Fourth Millennium:
Jesus is Born. Jesus is called the bright and morning star. He is Immanuel, God with us.
Day Five: God Creates the Fish, Birds and Animals. An Explosion of Life.
Fifth Millennium:
The church explodes and spreads around the world.
Day Six: God Creates Adam
Sixth Millennium:
Jesus Returns. (The Second Adam reappears)
Day Seven: God Rests
Seventh Millennium:
The Thousand-Year Millennial Kingdom. Jesus reigns.

If this chart is true, we are somewhere in the Sixth Day, the sixth millennium since Adam. If I am right, Jesus is going to return sometime during this millennium. It could be a hundred years from now, or eight hundred years from now – or it could be today. Read the rest of 2 Peter 3 and see that Jesus will return like a thief, meaning when we’re not expecting him. So we don’t know the hour or the day, but Jesus said we can see the signs and know when it is soon. I see the signs and I know it will be soon.
Be ready, because when he came the first time, he brought mercy, humility and salvation. When he returns, he is bringing God’s judgment, and it will be too late to repent.

Walkin'

Our dachshund loves to go "walkin'" every afternoon. He knows the word and runs for the door when one of us says it. We walk him down our driveway and back.

Welcome to the Real, Supernatural World

Einstein said, "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." Either the universe is a miracle, created by God, or Darwin was right and natural forces caused it. Either life is a miracle, a gift from God, or it is an incredibly lucky accident. Either God is the creator or is a liar or doesn't exist. Either the Bible is true or it is not. The Bible says that God created the universe, the world, and life itself. Paul specifically says Jesus is the creator of all things. The Bible says everything is a miracle; everything is supernatural. The Bible says, then, that there is no natural world, only a supernatural world.
The Bible is not a science book and doesn’t try to be. But it clearly states that God is the creator. We either believe that or we don’t. God left out many details, and left us with mysteries to solve. Let science dig and learn and move forward. But God didn’t leave it to debate whether or not he was the creator. He said the universe is supernatural. He said life is supernatural. If we want to deny that, we are questioning his character, calling him a liar, or simply denying his existence. I believe Einstein was on to something. I believe everything is a miracle.
