These pretty little gold finches spend the winter with us every year. They've discovered my feeders loaded with sunflowers. A whole flock of them come each year, but they'll be gone by spring break.

- A husband, father, award-winning journalist and author. Harris graduated from Texas A&M University in 1983 with a Journalism degree. He was an Associated Press Award Winning TV Reporter and Photographer at KLTV, Channel 7, in Tyler, Texas until 1991, when he left to become a youth minister. He has written several youth ministry books and two fictional novels, The Dead Peasants File and The Dead Peasants' Contract.
